After returning from North Africa, we were blessed to take a trip to California to visit our dear church family in Lodi. This passage focuses on abiding on the vine (of Christ), bearing fruit and, especially, those seasons where we are striving to follow Jesus but we are not seeing the fruit. The Master Gardener wants us to bear fruit and sometimes that means he must prune us. What does that look like?

Vision Presentation for Downtown Church
The Vision Team was commission in the summer of 2019 by the Shepherds of Downtown Church of Christ to work with the church in seeking God for His Vision for the future of this church family. In August of this year, the Vision Team presented the new Vision and Mission to the Shepherds and it was approved by them. We are now sharing it with our Ministry Leaders and Small Group leaders so that we can pray and plan for how this will "flesh out" in the coming months and years. This is not some kind of "finished product", this is the beginning of an exciting journey together!
