The hospital put new calendars in every room today. I guess they are running a little behind on things like that. Robbie suddenly realized that Christmas had passed him by and became very emotional again. We shared with him about the very, very hard days he had during that time and that we were actually praying that he would not remember it. Well, he does not remember Christmas, even though God blessed him with about a one hour reprieve from his pain that gave him time to open some presents with his mom and dad, his sisters and his Uncle Robbie. That was the last time he was somewhat cognizant of his surroundings until several days after the new year. We are thankful that he does not remember the nightmare that he endured during those times. It is also a good reminder to me that he is much better now than he was then.
